Master Shot Scene

My group met up on Sunday and we all decided what we were going to do for the master shot scene. Since I’m the director of Cinematography, I’m in charge for how the shots would play out. With the script, we decided to make a film about speed dating. Before the master shot, the two subjects, Bran and Park, would first be talking to other people first before talking to each other. Once the timer goes off, they will switch dates and walk to the same table. For the master shot, I was thinking of a shot of Bran sitting at a small table, as his previous date walks away. Then Park walks into frame from the left, from behind Bran, and sits down at the table. The shot will be a long shot and the camera would be placed on the other side of an adjacent camera. The table will have a candlelight, a tablecloth, maybe a timer on it, and a romantic flower in between the two. For the lighting, I think most of it should come from the candles on the table. Meaning it would be in between the two characters. Lighting up both of their faces. Also, some light reflecting off the window next to them.

For my group, I'm in charge of working on the storyboard, shot list, and the layout of where the camera's and light would be. We haven't scouted a location yet, but I've already finished the first page of my group's storyboard.
